Antonio Conte has a contract with Chelsea until 2019, but there is an option he will leave the club at the end of this season.
He recently talked about the nostalgia that is more often bothering him. But Spanish newspaper “As” discovers what is actually the real reason that disrupted the coach’s relationship with the London club.
According to As, Conte wanted to bring him to the team, Fernando Llorente and was furious at the management that did not realize the transfer. Tottenham meanwhile sent for a 10m-euro bid higher than Chelsea’s € 5.5m bid and took the 32-year-old Spaniard into their ranks.
All this shaken Conte’s relationship with Chelsea’s management, which according to the Spanish newspaper may be the main reason Conte left his London club before the expiry of the contract’s deadline.
