Barcelona’s new coach Ernesto Valverde is getting more problems, and after leaving one of Neymar’s best players and losing to Real Madrid, another player has said he wants to leave Camp Nou.
As reported by Spanish Sport, 25-year-old Sergi Roberto has said he wants to leave Barcelona because he expects to stay on the bench after Paulinho’s arrival at Barcelona.
Roberto does not want to heat the bench, so he wants options for transfer outside of Barcelona, and in the past he was linked to Juventus, Chelsea and Manchester United. The clause in his contract amounts to 40 million euros.
In a duel against Real Madrid from the Super Cup in Spain, Roberto entered the game in place of Iniesta, gaining 23 minutes an opportunity to show his qualities.
