Swiss Roger Federer is the “King” of Wimbledon.
In an overpowering way, he reached his eighth, record-breaking, trophy on the pitch of the All-England Club in London, defeating Croatian Marin Cilic with 3-0 in sets (6-3, 6-1, 6-4). In his 11th final, Federer reached the eighth victory, and for what kind of tennis machine things are enough, the fact that he has not lost a single set during the entire tournament. In his career, this was a symbolic 1,111 victory.
He scored all of them … Dolgopolov handed over a set in the first round, and then with 3-0 in the sets lost from Federer and Dusan Lajovic, Misha Zverev, Grigor Dimitrov, Milos Raonic, Tomas Berdych, and in the final, Marin Cilic.
From the very beginning, the Swiss announced that it was located for the game, to win the historic 19th title of the Grand Slam Tournament. He won the first set with 6-3. Marin Cilic had health problems, in one part of the match he was in tears, but continued to play, but could not give strong resistance. Federer won the second set with 6-1, and in the third did not allow a mistake and completed 6-4.
