Turkish footballer Arda Turan will almost certainly leave Barcelona at the finish of the transfer period.
Turan in Barcelona arrived two years ago as a big boost from Atletico Madrid but failed to justify the expectations of Camp Nou. Ernesto Valverde made clear before the beginning of this season that he would not count on his services, and that he had permission to seek a new engagement.
Ten days ago, the media reported that Turan was very close to returning to Galatasaray, but in the end it failed because Barcelona does not want to send it on loan but to sell it. However, at the very finish of the transfer period, it seems that the Catalan decision has appeared.
The Catalan newspaper Sport reported this morning that Monaco showed interest in Turan. The club from the Principality will almost certainly stay without Kylian Mbappé, and there is a possibility that the club will leave Thomas Lemar. Monaco led Stevan Jovetic as a replacement for Mbappe, while Turan could be a substitute for Lemar.
The Turkish footballer with Barca has a contract until the summer of 2020, and in the Catalan club they hope to earn about 25m euros for the former big star of Atletico Madrid.
